I started off by drawing huming-birds and painting and dripping around them.
Then I start adding the face
More and more volume
Start shading and filling in with more details.
This one I had to make some very dark shadows on so I had to use charcoal for the last part of it but it turned out great.
I was contacted by miss Heather Doss a while back, asking me if I wouldn´t mind making a portrait of her. Normaly I ignore these requests but sinse she is a beautiful model and amazing person I chose to accept.
This took around 6-8 hours.
